Pursuant to LCMC 13.10.350, the following schedule of user charges shall be levied on all customers of the City's municipal sanitary sewer utility.
The monthly Sanitary Sewer Rates and Permit Application and Inspection Fees for a particular sewer connection shall be based on the following schedule of equivalent residential units (ERU). The ERU assignment shall be applied on a proportionate basis.

Monthly Equivalent Residential Unit charges for high schools, junior high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, community colleges and preschools shall be adjusted annually and will be charged based upon student enrolment, faculty and support staff reported to the City at the end of October of each year.
Permit Application and Inspection Fees listed above are the minimum amounts. The City reserves the right to charge actual costs for project inspection or re-inspections
Low Income Qualification: A single family residential household with an annual income from total sources, including that of his or her spouse or co-tenant, which does not exceed eighteen thousand two hundred thirteen dollars ($18,213) qualifies for a reduction of 50% of an ERU; or twenty seven thousand five hundred sixty three dollars ($27,563) qualifies for a reduction of 35% of an ERU.
