"Our city is quiet, peaceful and secure and it is great to know your neighbors. As a local business owner and Chamber of Commerce Board Member, I'd like to see La Center become a destination city. Along with the development of the amphitheater and the waterfront area for recreational opportunities, I think downtown revitalization and managed growth are very important. I enjoy participating in local politics and am excited to contribute to La Center's future."

The five-member City Council is the legislative body and sets policies for the City of La Center by ordinance, resolution and motions decided by a majority vote. Council terms are four years in length.
